Identity and verification policy

Real names, real numbers, real bank accounts. This is how we verify the people on Casamigo.

Everyone

• Phone verification by SMS is required before posting a job or placing a bid — one phone number per account.
• You must be 18 or older to use Casamigo.

Professionals

Every professional completes Stripe's identity verification (ID document + bank account) before they can bid or receive payouts — the same regulated KYC process banks use. A complete, identity-verified profile also ranks higher in search results.

Companies and their teams

A company completes the same Stripe verification with its company details, then assigns jobs to its own professionals. Your booking always shows who performs the job: the assigned professional's name appears on the booking, and "Professional to be assigned" until one is.

Insurance

Professionals bring their own liability insurance, and we display it on their profile so you can see it. For electrical work — where insurance is legally mandated in Spain — a verified liability policy with a minimum coverage level is required before bidding.

Casamigo does not run separate background checks. Trust is built from these verifications plus reviews from real, completed jobs.
